Introduction

As part of the international balloon festival, the grand

Festo balloon tour started on 18th October 2011, in

Leon, Guanajuato, achieving great success and partici-

pation.

Guadalajara, San Luis Potosi, Puebla and Mexico City

were also visited by the Festo twin balloons.

More than 120 customers, Festo employees and their

families could experience a balloon ride enjoying the vi-

sited cities from a new high perspective.

Additionally, the biggest rolling industrial exhibition of

the world, the Festo “Expotainer“, followed the Festo

Twin Balloons during the whole Festo Mexico Ballooning

Tour 2011.

Background information:

The principle of ballooning

– Pneumatics, the industrial

use of compressed air, is one of the core competencies

of Festo. Hot-air balloons and airships from Festo make

use of the lifting force of the heated air and practically

float in a sea of air. Festo promotes “lighter-than-air”

travel with developments of its own.
